Nervous System Reset - Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra

Points to keep in mind

STUDIO ETIQUETTE

To ensure a positive, peaceful, and distraction-free environment for everyone, please keep the following in mind:

BE ON TIME

Aim to arrive 10 - 15 minutes before class starts to settle in without rushing. Let your teacher know if you have any concerns or injuries that might need special attention in class.

RESPECT THE SPACE

Set up your mat mindfully, allowing enough room for others, and avoid stepping on anyone's mat. Since this is a residential area, please drive slowly and watch out for children and animals. Stay for the final resting pose. If you have to leave earlier, please arrange with the teacher and do so quietly.

BE KIND & COMPASSIONATE

Check your ego at the door. Yoga is a personal practice, and people attend class for different reasons. Avoid comparing yourself to others and honor and respect your fellow practitioners. Please take responsibility for the energy you bring into the space. Your words and attitude matter. 

BE COMFORTABLE

Dress comfortably and practice personal hygiene. Avoid strong perfumes and deodorants, or smoking before class, as smells are amplified in a shared space. Please bring your own drinking water. Please stay at home if you feel sick. 

EMBRACE THE PEACE & QUIET

Please respect others and turn your phone off or to silent to avoid distractions. Keep conversations soft to preserve the quiet, meditative atmosphere. 

REMOVE YOUR SHOES & CLEAN UP

Take off your shoes before entering the yoga room. Leave shoes and personal belongings in the designated area. Pack away all props after class and leave quietly, not to disturb others who decide to stay longer in Savasana.
